Our Story
digital blanket® (formerly Flamenco Tech) founded by serial entrepreneurs Sudhir Sarma and Bala Chitoor, originated as an offshoot of FutureIP Labs to provide IOT solutions for smart buildings. FutureIP Labs is an early-stage incubator founded by Sudhir & Bala and has an impressive track record over the last 15 years. Some of their successful exits include Network Solutions, ServiceBerry, LantroVision, and Prohance to companies like IBM, Intel, Mastercard, and Chrys Capital.
Over the years, we have evolved from a consulting firm to an end-to-end solution provider for smart buildings and have implemented digital blanket® platform across 40M sq. ft. of real estate for 100+ clients. Given the need to actively manage decarbonization & sustainability goals in addition to newer requirements like hybrid work, digital blanket® was revamped into a SaaS platform focused on sustainability.
Our extensive experience, spanning hundreds of man-years and a trusted partner network, fuels our passion for serving a wide range of clients across commercial offices, builders & developers, hotels, hospitals, data centers, for creating a future where businesses and the planet thrive together.
Our Platform
digital blanket® is an IoT and AI-enabled Proptech and ClimateTech SaaS platform that connects and collects real-time data from sensors and utilities equipment (HVAC, MEP, ELV, machines) while engaging autonomous controls to optimize maintenance, reduce energy, improve sustainability, and environmental conditions.
In addition to energy & sustainability, the platform offers Data-driven Maintenance Management (CMMS), Environmental & Occupancy Sensors, Workspace Portfolio Analytics & Optimization along with Digital Employee Experiences.
